Introduction
User Interface
ES_StableIF97 is a steam table software coded in accordance with IAPWS-IF97, and has the following user interface.
The picture above shows looking up of Water/Steam properties with pressure and temperature given. Water/Steam properties looked up are as shown in the picture above.
Look-up Status or Process
ES_StableIF97 has a capability to look up water/steam properties for the following status or process. ES_StableIF97 provides metastable steam properties, choking nozzle process and sub-critical nozzle process in addition to general steam table functions.

Unit Selection
User can select the units he wants to use by clicking the menu [Option] > [Unit] > [Unit selection(S)...] as shown in the picture below. By the clicking the [Unit selection(S)...] menu, the Unit Selection form below the picture pops up for user's unit selection.
Refer to Unit Summary for available units. User can use any combination of units he wants.
The current units can be saved as default units by clicking the menu [Set the current units as default(D)...].
Clipboard Copy
Clipboard copy function is provided in order to copy and paste the water/steam properties into other software, such as MS Excel, MS Word, etc.
After checking the check box [Clipboard copy], click a cell in Value column. Then the cell value with property name and unit is copied to clipboard and a message box pops up as the picture below.
If user checks the check box [Value only] additionally, the cell value only is copied to clipboard as shown in the picture following.
